DAY 01

Arrival Mandalay

Arrival Mandalay in the morning, welcome at Mandalay International Airport and transfer to hotel. Afternoon city tour in Mandalay start for visiting of traditional handicraft workshops such as, marble carving, gold leaves beating, Kuthodaw Pagoda – the world biggest book, Shwenandaw (Golden Palace) Monastery.
Finally enjoy the sunset on top of Mandalay Hill where we can admire the beauty of Mandalay City, Shan Plateau, etc. Come back to hotel and leisure. Overnight in Mandalay.

DAY 02

Excursion Sagaing & Ava. Enjoy the sunset at U Bein

Early morning leave for Sagaing (around 06:30am) and direct drive to the SMALL JADE MARKET in Sagaing and visit (Busiest time of Jade market is around 07:30am).
Continue visit KA NAR TAW Village where villagers are earning making Myanmar Traditional Toys and distributing it to the pagodas. We can see Myanmar traditional toys in every pagodas and which are attracting to the children. We can learn the process of making toys in the village (remark: workshops will be close on full moon day / Dark moon day and Sabbath days). Then visit KAUNGMUTAW PAGODA, Silver Smith workshop and then drive up to Sagaing Hill, the place of over 700 monasteries. Visit Soon Oo Pon Nya Shin Pagoda where we can observe the fascinating landscapes of the Ayeyarwaddy River from serene Sagaing Hill. Continue to Ava and visit by horse carts to Maenu Okkyaung Monastery – built by the chief queen in 1818, Nan Myint Tower – 27 meter masonry high, Bargayar Monastery – well known for its wood carving with 267 teak pillars. Come back to Amarpaura and enjoy the sunset by crossing Over U Bein Bridge. Overnight in Mandalay.

DAY 03

Excursion Amarapura & Mingun

Early morning, pick up at the hotel and transfer to a traditional Mandalay quarter to participate in SOON OFFERING. In the morning, monks line up along the streets to receive food donations from local people and it is nice sense of Soon offering ceremony with the good merit of local people. After that, back to hotel and breakfast.
Firstly visit Mahamuni Buddha Image – one of the most sacred Buddha Images in Myanmar and then excursion to Amarapura – an ancient capital of Myanmar, where we can observe the life of over 1000 monks at Mahagandaryon Monastery & silk weaving factory and Shwer Inbin Teak wood Monastery. Afternoon boat excursion to Mingun (01 hour) along mighty Ayeyarwaddy River. During the river cruise, we may enjoy the fascinating landscapes of the river as well as the daily life of the people living along the Ayeyarwaddy. Visit Mingun pagoda – unfinished pagoda & the biggest ringing bell of 90 tons, the unusual Myatheindan pagoda. Cruise back to Mandalay and enjoy Sunset On Board. Overnight in Mandalay.

DAY 04

Fly from Mandalay to Kalemyo

Flight to Kalemyo. Arrival Kalemyo, transfer to hotel. Then visit Yay San Kyun pagoda to enjoy panoramic view and beauty of Myit Thar River. [If time permit, visit Tar Han market, it is close every Sunday]. Overnight in Kalemyo.

DAY 05

Kalemyo- Tedim- Loilo village (About 5 hours drive)

Leave for Tedim. Kalay to Tai Nang is (30.2 Miles). Tai Nang is the junction of going to Kalay, Falam, and Tedim. Tai Nang to Tedim (25.5 miles). Stop for relax.
On the way many stops for taking photos and enjoy beauty of chin plateau and trees of Rhododendron and Force White Hill. Upon arrival Tedim, visit Tedim and also to Shaung Sang village, it is animist and believes in it. After visiting, drive about 30 mins to Loilo village, it is small, charming and quiet village compose with 65 houses located over 4000 fts above sea level. It is situated on the hill and houses are lying along the slope of mountain.
From the village, one can enjoy panoramic view of Chin Plateau, beauty of motor road like a snake along the top of mountains ranges and beauty of majestic Manipur River. Feeling of driving through the high mountains ranges is unforgettable. Home stay and leisure.
Overnight at local house in the village.

DAY 06

Visit Loilo village and its surrounding

In the morning, there will be mist and feeling like staying above the cloud. When sun is raising, the scenery is changing and can enjoy marvelous scenery of Chin plateau/ valley/ river / etc..
Villagers are very friendly people and they are warmly welcoming the guests & inviting for home stay. Some villagers can speak a little bit speak English and can communicate with tourists easily. It is impressive strolling in the village and chat with villagers and visiting their houses. And also learn traditional hand weaving in some houses and they are weaving for their family. And also learn their ancient traditional house and observe how they live in ancient time. We can take car or motorbike or trekking to Manipur River. The scenery of Bridge and Manipur River is marvelous. Then back to village and free.
Evening enjoy traditional dance if we have chance. Overnight at local house in the village.

DAY 07

Tedim- Kalemyo (About 5 hours drive).Continue drive to Gantgaw

Drive back to Kalemyo and continue drive to Gantgaw by land route about 3 – 4 hours drive. Upon arrival, transfer to guesthouse and free. Overnight in Gantgaw.

DAY 08

Drive to Bagan

Drive from Gantgaw to Bagan via Pakokku (about 7 hours drive).
On the way, enjoy marvelous scenery and having lunch at small local restaurant in Mintain Bin Village. Upon arrival Bagan, transfer to hotel and free. Overnight in Bagan.

DAY 09

Sightseeing Bagan

Sightseeing begins with a visit to Tayokye Pyay for a first overview over the plain of magnificent Bagan. Continue to the colorful Nyaung Oo Market before getting an introduction to Bagan’s history at the Shwezigon Pagoda and its glorious golden stupa. Then, visit to nearby Wetkyi-In Gubyaukgyi, a cave temple with exquisite jatakas murals paintings and the elegant Htilominlo Temple noted for its fine plaster carvings and glazed sandstone decorations.
In the afternoon visit to the Ananda Temple, an architectural masterpiece of the early-style temple with two original standing Buddha images showing changing facial expressions depending on the distance the statue is viewed from.
End the day with a horse carriage tour among the temples starting at Ananda and passing Thatbyinnyu, the highest temple in Bagan, the massive Dhammayangyi Temple noted for its remarkable brickwork and Sulamani. Moreover, enjoy the unforgettable sunset over the site from one of the open upper terraces in Bagan.

DAY 10

Morning Cycling tour in Bagan and afternoon enjoy cruise

Visit of Bagan by cyclying tour. Bagan is the richest Archeological sites in Myanmar and once splendid and glorious capital of the First Myanmar Empire. It is the most amazing site in Myanmar as in every direction we look, we will see ruins of all sizes huge and glorious like Ananda soar towards the sky, and small, graceful pagodas & temples stand alone in the fields.
Explore unknown temples as addition to Tour Sightseeing in Bagan. Then cyclying back to your hotel. In the afternoon around 02:30PM, transfer to jetty and take private local boat along Ayeyarwaddy River and cruise until to see Shwezigon pagoda and scene of Bagan.
Then sailing down and stop at little village Selan, river village. Cruise back to Bagan, transfer to hotel and free. Overnight in Bagan.
[OPTIONAL: Enjoy cocktail at sandbank near Selan village by enjoying marvelous view over Majestic Bagan of spectacular sunset].

DAY 12

Excursion Inle

Visit by boat to the local tribe market if coincides, In Thein Pagodas, Lotus petal robe & silk weaving looms at Inn Paw Khone village, Phaungdaw Oo Pagoda the most venerable pagoda on the lake, Ngaphechaung monastery, etc. Overnight at Inle Lake.

DAY 13

Inle-Heho-Yangon-Golden Rock

Transfer to airport for flight to Yangon. Upon arrival, drive to Golden Rock (Kyaikhtiyo) which will take about 4/5 hours-the balancing pagoda which stands on a boulder. On the way, enjoy the natural beauty and Mon villages. Upon arrival at the base camp, take the open-air truck in one and half hour ride to upper camp and check in at hotel. Visit around and enjoy the sunset from this unforgettable site. Overnight in Kyaikhtiyoe.

DAY 14

Inle-Heho-Yangon-Golden Rock

Come down to the base camp and drive to Bago [about 3 hrs]. Visit Shwemawdaw Pagoda – the highest stupa in Myanmar, Shwetharlyaung Reclining Buddha Image, local market, etc. And then continue to Yangon. Upon arrival, transfer in and check in at the hotel. Overnight in Yangon.

DAY 15

Yangon Walking Tour

Start the trip by exploring COLONIAL AREA as the city featuring the faded colonial architecture of the old Post office, The Strand Road, Pansodan Street with Colonial architecture Building and walk up to the Pansodan Bridge to make good photos of colonial area and bustling street. Continue walk to High Court and Mahabandoola Garden including the Independence Monument along the way and Sule Pagoda, heart of City Center.
Continue visit Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda, a lively place of worship with a 70-meter long reclining Buddha as its centre piece. Finally, visit SHWEDAGON Pagoda – one of the wonders of the world. Overnight in Yangon.

DAY 16

Departure

Visit Bogyoke market (close on Mondays and public holidays) if time permits. Transfer to Yangon International Airport for departure.

  • Recommended only from November to March

  • Although still raining in October, the famous Khuado Pawi festival takes places where you can experience the colorful Chin Hill Tribes.
