DAY 01
Arrival Yangon
Welcome at Yangon International Airport. Transfer and check in at the hotel (official check in at 14:00).
Orientation tour Yangon if time permits:
Walking tour and exploring Colonial Area as the city featuring the faded colonial architecture of the old post office, Pansodan Street with Colonial architecture Building and walk up to the Pansodan Bridge to make good photos of colonial area and bustling street. Continue walk to High Court and Mahabandoola Garden including the Independence Monument along the way and Sule Pagoda, heart of City Center.
Finally, visit Shwedagon Pagoda – one of the wonders of the world.
Overnight in Yangon.
DAY 02
Enjoy Circular train. Experience local community Village in Twante
Take circular train ride from Central Train station to KyeeMyint Daing station, by enjoying local life. Then visit bustling local market of KyeeMyint Daing to observe the market activities and good place for shooting for ways of life.
Transfer to Nanthidar jetty and ferry boat to Dahla, next bank of Yangon River.
Then take car to Kyaikthale Village.
Upon arrival Kyaikthalae village, this morning guests will receive a warm welcome at the community lodge. A talk will then be provided by the community leader to explain more about the village and the people the project currently supports. This will be followed by lunch and an exploration of the village. This will be a great opportunity to learn about local industry, including bamboo basket weaving and sewing.
Then, back to Dhala and stop at Dhal for Recycle Workshop of ChuChu where one can learn the process of plastic fusion. After cleaning, plastic bags are cut in various shapes. Different layers of plastic are then fused by heat together, forming one multi-color sheet.
Chu Chu is a Yangon handicraft group dedicated to recycling.
Finally, ferry boat back to Yangon and enjoy Sunset on board and beauty of Yangon River.
Transfer to hotel and free. Overnight in Yangon.
DAY 03
Drive to Golden Rock (05:00 hours)
Drive to Golden Rock (Kyaikhtiyo)-the balancing pagoda which stands on a boulder. On the way, enjoy the natural beauty and Mon villages.
Upon arrival at the base camp, take the open truck in one hour ride to the top of the pagoda. Visit around and enjoy the sunset from this unforgettable site.
Overnight in Kyaikhtiyoe.
DAY 04
Golden Rock – Hpa an
Truck down to base camp and drive to Hpa-An, the capital of Karen State.
On the way we will stop and visit to Kawgun Cave – 3kms from Hpa An Township. It is natural limestone cave, 60 meters high and 90 meters in length. You will find thousands of Buddha images in various sizes, shapes in ancient styles all curved on the stone.
Then check in at hotel and leisure.
Visit to Kyauk Kalatt Pagoda, which is built on layers of natural rock formations and we enjoy our beautiful sunset there. Enjoy the sunset at Shwe Yin Mhyaw Pagoda. Overnight in Hpa-An.
DAY 05
Visit Hap An
Nowadays, Plastic campaign is important issue to clean our environments and authority is trying to convince the community under “3R” (Refuse/Reuse/Recycle) of plastic.
Each year, thousands of plastic bags, plastic bottles, and other non-degradable waste are thrown carelessly in the sacred mountain. This has an extremely negative impact on the environmental sustainability, as well as, the rapid growing tourism in the region, where Mount Zwekabin is the main touristic interest, for locals and foreigners.
With the help of our volunteers, we are collecting and free Mount Zwekabin from plastic waste.
And also educate local communities and tourists, as to raise awareness on environmental issues and the importance of environmental sustainability.
Morning transfer to Lumbini Garden at the base of beautiful Mt. Zwekabin with thousands of Buddha images and participating Plastic campaign and collecting rubbish.
Then drive to Eaindu village famous for its weaving and observe procession of weaving.
Continue visit Saddan Cave, a natural cave that can be walk along 20 minutes and through dark tunnel. At the end of the cave, you can start a small canoe ride passing under the stone cave and you can enjoy natural landscape. Drive back to Hpa an and transfer to hotel and free. Overnight in Hpa-An.
DAY 06
Hpa - An – Mawlamyine (By Private boat)
Morning transfer to jetty and take private local boat from Hpa-an to Mawlamyine.
Thanlwin river is one of the famous rivers in Myanmar and enjoy its beauty.
On the way stop at Kawhnat Kadow Village and visit U Nar Auk Monastery which houses fantastic reliefs displaying the history of Buddha life.
Back to the boat and continue sailing to Mawlamyine. Upon arrival Mawlamyine, transfer to hotel and check in. Then, visit Mawlamyine and enjoy the sunset at the pagoda at the top of the hill.
Overnight in Mawlamyine.
DAY 07
Excursion Bilu Islands
Explore authentic villages and their handicraft workshops.
Transfer to jetty and take 20 minutes long tail boat ride from Strand Road.
Firstly visit the slate industry. School kids even nowadays will have an old-fashioned slate board for the first grade to learn the writing of the Burmese Alphabet.
Further down the road is a local blacksmith who is sharping the sickle for the rice farmers. The wooden houses are in great shape and an eye catcher. We will reach Ywa Loot Village, which is known for making smoking pipes. Watch the workers manufacturing their pipes in their local homes.
Other small industries we are going to visit are the rubber band making from leftovers of the rubber industry, the cigar rolling shop and rice paddy cultivation (seasonal).
Then drive back to Mawlamyine and afternoon visit the beautiful Seindon Mibaya wooden monastery, Mahamuni Pagoda, built in traditional Mon style. Overnight in Mawlamyine.
DAY 08
Mawlamyine – Bago - Yangon
Drive back to Yangon and along the way you can stop at Zinkyaik Waterfall and Shwesaryan Pagoda.
Then continue drive to Bago and visit the Shwemawdaw Pagoda – the highest Mon style Stupa in Myanmar, Shwetharlyaung Reclining Buddha Image, 4 huge sitting Buddha at Kyaikpun pagoda.
Drive back to Yangon. Check in at the hotel and leisure. Overnight in Yangon.
DAY 09
Fly to Mandalay
Morning, transfer to the airport and flight to Mandalay, the old royal city of Mandalay is the Buddhist and also cultural center of the country and is characterized by its many stupas, temples and pagodas.
Upon arrival, excursion to Ava and visit by horse carts to Maenu Okkyaung Monastery – built by the chief queen in 1818, Nan Myint Tower – 27 meter masonry high, Bargayar Monastery – well known for its wood carving with 267 teak pillars.
Then enjoy riding Mountain Bike back to Mandalay. Check in at hotel and free. Overnight in Mandalay.
DAY 10
Mandalay
Early morning, transfer to Mahamuni pagoda and experience the face washing ceremony of Mahamuni Buddha Image by monks. Then back to hotel and breakfast.
Visit bustling Zegyo Keintan Vegetables market. Then visit Phaungdaw Oo Monastic school.
Continue visit of handicraft workshops such as gold leaf beating, tapestry work, etc. Then to Mandalay Royal Palace.
Enjoy trishaw ride for visiting Kuthodaw Pagoda – the world biggest book, Shwenandaw (Golden Palace) Monastery and proceed to Mandalay Hill to enjoy panorama view. Walk down to the base of mountain by stair way and at the foot of the hill, Shwekyin monastery is located.
Then back to hotel and free. Overnight in Mandalay.
DAY 11
Mandalay - Bagan (By Express NMaikha Boat)
Morning transfer to jetty and take express NMaikha Boat to Bagan by enjoying river life.
On the way, stop at Yandabo village, famous for its pottery work and sightseeing in the village for 45 minutes. Then continue cruise to Bagan.
Upon arrival Bagan, transfer to hotel and free. Overnight in Bagan.
DAY 11
Mandalay - Bagan (By Express NMaikha Boat)
Morning transfer to jetty and take express NMaikha Boat to Bagan by enjoying river life.
On the way, stop at Yandabo village, famous for its pottery work and sightseeing in the village for 45 minutes. Then continue cruise to Bagan.
Upon arrival Bagan, transfer to hotel and free. Overnight in Bagan.
DAY 12
Cycling tour in Bagan
Cycling tour in Bagan among the ancient and ruined pagodas is impressive and which might help the world in some way to reduce the carbon.
Bagan, which is the richest Archeological sites in Myanmar and once splendid and glorious capital of the First Myanmar Empire. It is the most amazing site in Myanmar as in every direction we look, we will see ruins of all sizes huge and glorious like Ananda soar towards the sky, and small, graceful pagodas & temples stand alone in the fields.
And unknown temples as addition to Tour Sightseeing in Bagan.
Enjoy the sunset at sunset hill. Overnight in Bagan.
DAY 13
Stay with the Sor Long community Khaw Nau Sone National Park, Chin State, Myanmar
Bagan –Sor Long Village (B, D)
Sor Long village is located near Kanpelet and it is one of the villages surrounding Khaw Nau Sone National Park and it is small village with 30 houses, about 120 people staying there.
In the past, it was not easy to access because of road condition and hence, it was in the very remote area and the villagers haven’t seen the foreigners.
All the people of Sor Long village are kind hearted and they have strong desire to develop their region although most of the villagers are not well educated with high level of poverty.
Staying together with them, we can experience their tradition and custom and enjoy Chin ethnic traditional dance of villagers.
Also enjoy marvelous scenery of Chin Plateau with feeling with nature scene.
Leave from Bagan early morning. There will be four-hour drive among the forested mountain and can take photos of the nature, through beautiful landscapes dotted with traditional bamboo huts, gold stupas and ox carts on the road.
We will stop for lunch spot en-route and a traditional Myanmar lunch will be provided. One arrival you will be shown to your comfortable accommodation where you can relax after the drive. Accommodation provided is simple and clean.
Our models en suite, twin bedrooms come with comfortable mattresses, blankets and mosquito nets.
We do not have electricity during night time but solar powered lighting is available.
The afternoon offers time to meet the friendly Sor Long villagers who will guide you around their village observing of Chin Nature and Culture, Panoramic view and feeling to nature sense.
They will proudly showcase some of their local customs and talk about the famous Chin facial tattoos.
The village musicians will treat you to a musical rendition of a bamboo flute, played through the nose.
For dinner, you will join the community, for traditional Chin food at the community lodge.

DAY 14
SOR LONG - MT VICTORIA
Mt Khaw-Nau-Sone is part of the Chin mountain range with a height of 10500 feet above sea level and one of the highest peaks of Southeast Asia.Mt Khaw Nau Sone (Nat Ma Taung , Mount Victoria ) is a protected area,in Khaw Nau Sone National Park which was established in 1994 square miles.The park is an association of ASEAN Heritage Park and includes an important birding area.The park offers virgin forest, wild orchids and colourful butterflies.
We start the day with a traditional Chin style breakfast at the community lodge. After breakfast,we drive to base camp about 17 kilometres away from the community lodge.At base camp we prepare for a trekking adventure up Khaw Nau Sone.
This walk will take approximately four hours. A packed lunch will be taken at the top of the mountain,where you can enjoy the fresh air with a 360 degree view of the Chin hills.
Return to base camp for a scenic drive back to Kanpletet, where we will visit one or two Chin ethnic tribes if time permits. Here you will encounter Nga,Muun,Daai,Uppu and Yin Do women with different facial tattoo patterns. You can see the tattooed face woman who play flute by her nose. After meet with your car and return back * Community Lodge.
For dinner, you will join the community, for traditional Chin food and Chin Khaung(Traditional Beer) at the community lodge. After dinner the villagers will entertain you with their cultural dancing. Overnight at Sor Long * munity Lodge.
DAY 15
Sor- Long- Bagan
Start the day with a traditional Chin style breakfast at the community lodge.
Back to BAGAN. Transfer to hotel and free. Overnight in Bagan.
DAY 16
Bagan- Heho-Pindaya- Inle
Transfer to the airport and flight to Heho.
Upon arrival Heho airport, Drive to Pindaya by enjoying the marvelous landscapes of hilly region with vegetables plantation, terrace landing cultivation, etc. Visit the Pindaya Caves – houses 8094 Buddha Images, traditional umbrella making and traditional shan paper making in Ngapyawtaw village.
And then continue to Inle. Transfer and check in at the hotel. Overnight in Inle.
DAY 17
Boat excursion Inle Lake
Boat excursion on the lake. We head to the morning market on the lake which is rotating around villages on and near the lake in a 5 day rhythm, a colorful market visited by lake inhabitants and surrounding hill tribes is held daily (except on new and full moon days).
From the middle of the lake, continue down a small canal leading to the Paoh village of In Dein. After a walk around the village, passing a local school, take the covered stairway to the beautiful Alaung Sitthou area where ancient stupas are partly covered by vegetation. From here there is a magnificent view over the lake. Stroll along the bamboo forest.
Then back to Inle and lunch at local Inthar House.
Continue visit Phaungdaw Oo Pagoda the most venerable pagoda, Lotus petal robe & silk weaving looms at Inn Paw Khone, Cheroot factory in Nampan village on the lake.
In the afternoon, enjoying canoe along the Village by Inle Canoe Lady with exclusive canoe service in Inle, helping for the local community project.
Then back to hotel and leisure. Overnight in Inle.
DAY 18
Visit Mine Thauk Village and Contribute Lunch at Ethnic Orphanage School
Morning visit Mine Thauk village, which is located eastern part of Inle Lake and walk along Mine Thauk bridge. Then walk to Ethnic Orphanage School but not all the children are orphans. Many are coming from remote villages and some will return to their villages and help teach other children.
Participating in preparing lunch for them and contribute them.
Enjoy the lunch together with them at the school (if the clients wish).
Then walk up to the Tawya monastery and enjoy panoramic view of Inle Lake.
Finally, back to hotel and leisure. Overnight in Inle Lake.
DAY 19
Cycling Tour (Mountain Bike) to Red Mountain Vineyard. Afternoon fly back to Yangon
Morning Cycling tour (with mountain bike) to Red Mountain Vineyard, which produces wonderful wines in the hills of the southern Shan State and the wines are made in the traditional of western wines with all new technological and modern equipment. Experience the process of wines and enjoy the marvelous view of the Inle Lake from there.
Then back to hotel.
Afternoon transfer to Heho airport for flight back to Yangon. Transfer to hotel and free.
Overnight in Yangon.
DAY 20
Free until transfer out and departure
Free day at leisure or explore by your own to colonial area / Bogyoke market (close on Monday and public holidays).
Evening transfer to Yangon International Airport and departure.
