DAY 01

Mandalay

Arrival Mandalay. Transfer to hotel and refreshment.
Transfer to Mandalay Hill and enjoy the sunset on top of Mandalay. Come back to hotel and leisure. Overnight in Mandalay.

DAY 02

Excursion Amarapura, Sagaing and Ava

Firstly visit, Mahamuni Buddha Image- one of the most sacred Buddha Images in Myanmar. Then visit Stone carving and wood carving.
Transfer to Amarapura (01:00 hour), an ancient capital of Myanmar, where we can observe the life of over 1000 monks at Mahagandaryon Monastery & silk weaving factory.
Proceed to Sagaing, where we can observe the fascinating landscapes of the Ayeyarwaddy River from serene Sagaing Hill, the place of over 700 monasteries.
Continue to Ava and visit by horse carts to Maenu Okkyaung Monastery – built by the chief queen in 1818, Nan Myint Tower – 27 meter masonry high, Bargayar Monastery – well known for its wood carving with 267 teak pillars. Come back to Amarpaura and enjoy the sunset by crossing over U Bein Bridge.
Enjoy the small boat ride at U Bein during sunset time.

DAY 03

Excursion Mingun

Transfer to jetty and boat excursion to Mingun (01 hour) along the Ayeyarwaddy River. During the river cruise, we may enjoy the fascinating landscapes of the river as well as the daily life of the people living along the Ayeyarwaddy. Visit Mingun pagoda – unfinished pagoda & the biggest ringing bell of 90 tons, the unusual Myatheindan pagoda. Cruise back to Mandalay.
Afternoon city tour in Mandalay incluidng: gold leaves beating, Kuthodaw Pagoda, Shwenandaw (Golden Palace) Monastery. Enjoy trishaw ride and observe city dwellers.
Then transfer to Shwe Kyin monastery located at the based on Mandalay Hill is authentic monastery in Mandalay. Clients can visit there and enjoy the ceremony of blessings of monks in the evening. After the sunset, all the monks come together into the ordination hall for praying and we can observe it. Come back to hotel and leisure.
[Optional – visit Jade market in the early morning (around 06:00AM) who want to].

DAY 04

Mandalay - Monywa and excursion Powintaung Caves, Shweba Taung

Drive to Monywa. Upon arrival, visit Thanbode Temple and transfer and check in at the hotel.
Afternoon excursion to Powintaung Caves and Shweba taung cave. Then back to Monywa.
Overnight in Monywa.

DAY 05

Monywa - Myinmu - Yandabo Village

Transfer to Myinmu (about 1 hour drive) and take express boat to Yandabo village.
Upon arrival, transfer to hotel and leisure. Then stroll in the authentic typical village and walking among the villages’ houses and watch them patiently working the day, sit on the river’s shore and be charmed by the colors of sunset. Overnight at Yandabo Home in Yandabo village.

DAY 06

Yandabo Home

Visit Yandabo village and then take EXPRESS Boat to Bagan [ETD.12:30 / ETA. 04:00PM-04:30PM]
Morning travelling by normal small boat to the unique village of Pan Nyo that can be reached in about 15 minutes.
The highlight of Pan Myo village is the presence of what are estimated to be 4,000 buffaloes, and it would be magnificent view of bathing of 4,000 buffaloes, in Ayeyarwaddy river in the morning.
After that back to the village and afternoon take EXPRESS Boat to Bagan.
Upon arrival, transfer to hotel and free. Overnight in Bagan.

DAY 07

Bagan

Visit colorful local market, Shwezigon Pagoda – the glory of Bagan, Htilominlo Temple-the best pilaster carving, Nathtaukkyaung – monastery made of teak wood, Ananda Temple – the masterpiece of Bagan, Gubyaukgyi Temple – the best mural paintings of 11th century, Manuha Temple – huge Buddha Images, Dhamayangyi Temple – the biggest temple in Bagan, Sulamani Temple – the 12th century temple, the lacquerware workshop – the unique of Bagan, etc. Finally, enjoy the sunset on the top of sunset hill. Overnight in Bagan.

DAY 08

Bagan

Visit Lawkananda pagoda, which has the fascinating river view, Payathonezu temples with mural paintings, Nagayon Temple of 11th century, Apyeyadanar Temple with mural paintings, etc. In the late afternoon, visit Phwesaw village to observe the life of people. Finally, enjoy sunset in Bagan. Overnight in Bagan.
[OPTIONAL – In the afternoon enjoy horse cart ride to Tangbe village and visit. Then continue to sunset hill to enjoy sunset].

DAY 09

Bagan - Heho - Pindaya - Inle

Transfer to the airport and flight to Heho. Upon arrival at Heho airport, Drive to Pindaya by enjoying the marvelous landscapes of hilly region with vegetables plantation, terrace landing cultivation, etc. Visit the Pindaya Caves – houses 8094 Buddha Images. And then continue to Inle Lake. Transfer and check in at the hotel and overnight at Inle Lake.

DAY 10

Inle

Morning transfer to Ywama village by boat and continue to Taung Chay village there are good scenery to see and photo stops on the way.
Taung Chay Village is located at the foot of hill and it is impressive for boat riding towards to the mountain. Stroll in the village and observe production of traditional rice creepy. Then 10 mins walk up to the Taung Chay Tawya monastery and enjoy panoramic view.
Then take boat continue to Inn Dein pagodas in ruins covered by trees and bushes,, and stroll Inn Dein Bamboo forest. Then back to hotel and leisure.
Overnight in Inle.

DAY 11

Inle - Sagar - Loikaw

Drive to Loikaw through Sagar village. Stop on route in case there is any market on the way if we meet.
Visit Sagar village and take the boat to Thagaung relic pagoda, other ancient religious monuments and ways of life of Shan, Pa O and Intha national races in Sagar village.
Then continue drive to Loikaw. Transfer to hotel and visit TaungKweCeti to appreciate the sunset and panoramic view of Loikaw. Overnight in Loikaw.

DAY 12

Excursion to Padaung village (Panpet) + Local Community Guide

Drive to Pan Pet, which offers opportunities for scenic hikes and chances to meet the local villagers – including the long-neck women (Kayah tribe).
Panpet village group is composed with 5 small villages. In other villages, clients can observe traditional hand-makes materials, visiting their home and charting with them and observe their daily life.
Visit Salong Kana hamlet, to meet a local Kayan artisan, and enjoy a hands-on demonstration about how to make traditional, Kayan bracelets. Clients can also have a go at making a bracelet themselves.
Then visit to the last village, called Pemsong village. On arrival, clients are welcomed in a local home where enjoy a hot drink and a simple, local snack.
Enjoy picnic lunch “Cooperation Project to the communities Kayah”.
Finally, back to first village by car and the trip ends in Rang Ku hamlet, where guests can visit small crafts shops, run by the famous Kayan people (popularly known as Long Neck Karen). Enjoy learning a few words of Kayan language and interacting with these fun-loving and artistic people. There are opportunities to buy local handicrafts.
Then back to Loikaw. SUNSET on the top of the main pagoda in Loikaw. Overnight in Loikaw.

DAY 13

Exploring hidden authentic Kayaw villages (Ra-A-Pra village, and Htay Kho village) + Local Community Guide

Drive to outskirt of Loikaw to explore hidden authentic Kayaw villages.
After driving about 2 hours to Ra-A-Pra village, home of Kayaw tribe. In the village, all women are wearing traditional dress of Kayaw tribe, but we can see only one man who remains in wearing his traditional dress. Then continue drive to Htay Kho village (CBT village) (about 40 mins), which is small and also authentic village of Kayaw tribe, where one can explore daily life of Kayaw tribe and participating their daily activities of traditional weaving, and chatting with them and visiting their houses.
Enjoy picnic lunch at Htay Kho village “Cooperation Project to the communities Kayah”.
Visiting Church and small museum of Kayaw tribe to observe their tradition and culture.
Finally drive back to Loikaw (about 3 hours). Transfer to hotel and free.
Overnight in Loikaw.

DAY 14

Loikaw - Yangon

If time permit, visit Loikaw local market before transfer to airport for flight back to Yangon. Transfer to hotel and visit Yangon including Circular train ride in Yangon. Overnight in Yangon.

DAY 15

Yangon - Kyaikhto by local train - Driver to Golden Rock

Transfer to train station and local train to Kyaikhto [89 UP, 0715-1155, UPPER SEAT].
On the way, enjoy the natural beauty. Upon arrival Kyaikhto, drive to Golden Rock (Kyaikhtiyo) and upon arrival the base camp, take the open truck in one-hour ride to the top of the pagoda. Visit around and enjoy the sunset from this unforgettable site. Overnight in Kyaikhtiyoe.

DAY 16

Golden Rock - Hpa an

Back to the base camp.
Drive to Hpa An. En-route stop in Thaton and also Bayint Nyi Cave & hot spring lake exist in that cave and Kawgun Cave on the way before reach to Hpa-an.
Kawgun cave is located near Kawgun village, which is two miles distance from Hpa An township. It is a natural lime stone cave and measures 200 fts height and 300 fts length. The rock surface is profusely decorated with different kinds of clay Buddha images and votive tablets. It is a rare cave in the lower Myanmar. According to the style of the Buddha images it can be datable to 15th century A.D. Hanthawaddy period. Upon arrival Hpa-an, check in at hotel. Enjoy the sunset at Shweyinhmyaw pagoda. Overnight in Hpa-an.

DAY 17

Hpa an - Mawlamyine by boat (on the way stop at Kawhnat-Kadoe Village, home of U Nar Oak)

Morning transfer to jetty and take private local boat from Hpa-an to Mawlamyine.
Thanlwin river is one of the famous rivers in Myanmar and enjoy its beauty.
On the way stop at Kawhnat Kadow Village. Upon arrival jetty, take tuktuk to U Nar Oak Monastery where you will see the best Glass Mosaic decorations and Teak Wooden Buddha Images. The monastery is donated by a Myanmar Well-Known Teak Merchant, U Na Oak because of his patriotic battle in terms of inland water transport business against the then Irrawaddy Floatilla Company in the British times. Walk around the monastery complex, take the pictures of the amazing wood-carvings decorated on the inner walls of the monastic buildings. Sometimes, you will see the European pillar pedestals at some of the buildings.
Back to the boat and continue sailing to Mawlamyine. Transfer to hotel. Overnight in Mawlamyine.

DAY 18

Bilu Islands & Mawlamyine

Drive to Bilu Islands and our first stop will be the slate industry. School kids even nowadays will have an old-fashioned slate board for the first grade to learn the writing of the Burmese Alphabet. Further down the road is a local blacksmith who is sharping the sickle for the rice farmers. The wooden houses are in great shape and an eye catcher. We will reach Ywa Loot Village, which is known for making smoking pipes. Watch the workers manufacturing their pipes in their local homes.
Lunch will be in a clean local restaurant. Other small industries we are going to visit are the rubber band making from leftovers of the rubber industry, the cigar rolling shop and rice paddy cultivation (seasonal).
Then back to Mawlamyine and visit Win Sein Taw Ya forest and we can see the biggest sleeping Buddha in the world, namely, Zinathuka Yan Aung Chantha and visit Kyauktalone Pagoda and to enjoy panoramic view of the city and to enjoy the sunset from Kyaik Thanlan Pagoda.
Overnight in Mawlamyine.

DAY 19

Mawlamyine - Thaton by train - Yangon

Transfer to train station and take local train to Thaton. Then drive back to Yangon. On the way stop at Bago and visit. Upon arrival Yangon, transfer in and free. Overnight in Yangon.

DAY 20

Yangon

Visit the colonial area, the China Town, the Indian Town and the Scott Market [except on Mondays and Public Holidays]. Finally, visit Shwedagon Pagoda- one of the wonders of the world. Overnight in Yangon.

DAY 21

Departure Yangon

Free until transfer to Yangon International Airport and departure.
