DAY 01
Yangon
Welcome at the airport. Transfer and check in at the hotel. Orientation tour Yangon if time permits. Visit the colonial area, the Sule Pagoda-the landmark of Yangon City Centre, the Chaukhtatgyi Reclining Buddha Image. Finally, visit the Shwedagon Pagoda-one of the wonders of the world. Overnight in Yangon.
DAY 02
Yangon - Mandalay. Excursion Mingun & sightseeing Mandalay
In the morning, have breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport for the flight to Mandalay. Upon arrival, transfer to the jetty for the boat excursion to Mingun (01 hour) along the Ayeyarwaddy River. During the river cruise, we may enjoy the fascinating landscapes of the river as well as the daily life of the people living along the Ayeyarwaddy. Visit Mingun pagoda – infinised pagdoa & the biggest ringing bell of 90 tons, the unusual Myatheindan pagoda. Back to Mandalay and visit traditional handicraft workshops such as, gold leaves beating, Kuthodaw Pagoda – the world biggest book, Shwenandaw (Golden Palace) Monastery, the finest of wood carving, etc. Finally enjoy the sunset on top of Mandalay Hill where we can admire the beauty of Mandalay City, Shan Plateau, etc. Come back to hotel and leisure. Overnight in Mandalay.
DAY 03
Excursion Amarapura, Sagaing & Ava (Inwa)
In the morning, have breakfast at the hotel. Visit Mahamuni Buddha Image- one of the most sacred Buddha Images in Myanmar. Excursion to Amarapura (01:00 hour), an ancient capital of Myanmar, where we can observe the life of over 1000 monks at Mahagandaryon Monastery & silk weaving factory. Proceed to Sagaing, where we can observe the fascinating landscapes of the Ayeyarwaddy River from serene Sagaing Hill, the place of over 700 monasteries, Kaungmudaw Pagoda-the magnificent dome remarkably seen from far away, silverware factory, etc. Continue to Ava (Inwa) and visit by horse carts to Maenu Okkyaung Monastery-built by the chief queen in 1818 for the venerable chief monk is the unique brick type building of 19th century, Nan Myint Tower-27 meter masonry high is declined due to the earthquake in 1811, Bargayar Monastery-well known for its wood carving with 267 teak pillars. On the way back to Mandalay, enjoy the sunset by crossing over U Bein bridge. Overnight in Mandalay.
DAY 04
Mandalay - Monywa (112 km, 03:30/04:00 hours). Excursion to Powintaung Caves
In the morning, have breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Monywa and check in at the hotel. Excursion to Powintaung Caves-situated in a cliff which houses over 400,000 Buddha Images. Go back to Monywa and visit Thanbode Temple-over 500,000 Buddha Images, the Bodhitahtaung Temple-over 1000 sitting Buddha Images under 1000 Bodhi trees, and the Shwetharlyaung Reclining Buddha Image-one of the biggest reclining Buddha Images in Myanmar with 100 meters long. Overnight in Monywa.
DAY 05
Monywa - Myinmu - Bagan
In the morning, have breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Myinmu and the river cruise to Bagan. Leisure and enjoy the marvelous landscapes during the cruise. The boat may stop is some villages to get the local passengers up and down. Arrive to Bagan and transfer to hotel. Overnight in Bagan.
DAY 06
Sightseeing Bagan
In the morning, have breakfast at the hotel. Visit colorful local market, the Shwezigon Pagoda-the glory of Bagan, the Htilominlo Temple-the best pilaster carving, the Nathtaukkyaung -monastery made of teak wood, the Ananda Temple-the masterpiece of Bagan, the Gubyaukgyi Temple-the best mural paintings of 11th century, the Manuha Temple-huge Buddha Images, the Dhamayangyi Temple-the biggest temple in Bagan, the Sulamani Temple-the 12th century temple, the lacquerware workshop-the unique of Bagan, etc. Finally, enjoy the sunset on top of a sunset hill. Overnight in Bagan.
DAY 07
Excursion Mt.Popa (50 km, 02:00 hrs). Drive to Kalaw (230 km, 7/8 hours)
In the morning, have breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Mt.Popa-an extinct volcano which is known as “Home of the Spirits” and observe the life of rural area on the way such as producing the palm sweets. We may stop several places for making the photos and knowing the countryside. Climb up 777 steps to reach of top of Mt.Popa cliff temple and enjoy the landscapes. Come down and proceed to Kalaw. Check in at the hotel and leisure. Overnight in Kalaw.
DAY 08
Kalaw - Pindaya (2 hours) - Inle (97 km, 02:30 hours)
In the morning, have breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Pindaya and visit the Pindaya Caves-houses 8094 Buddha Images, umbrella workshop, which is made of pulp, Singaung Shan monastery, etc. Drive to Inle. Check in at the hotel and leisure. Overnight at Inle Lake.
DAY 09
Excursion Inle
In the morning, have breakfast at the hotel. Boat excursion on the lake. Visit In Thein pagodas in ruins covered by trees and bushes, floating gardens, floating villages, Lotus-petal robe weaving looms & silk weaving at In Paw Khone village, Phaungdaw Oo Pagoda-the most venerable pagoda on the lake, jumping cats monastery, etc. Overnight at Inle Lake.
DAY 10
Excursion Inle
Day 10 Inle-Heho-Yangon
In the morning, have breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport for the flight to Yangon. Upon arrival, transfer and check in at the hotel. Visit Bogyoke market [except on Monday & public holidays] & Chinatown. Overnight in Yangon.
DAY 11
Yangon - Phnom Penh
In the morning, have breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Yangon International Airport for the departure flight. Arrival to Phnom Penh. Welcome at the airport and transfer to the hotel. If time permits, visit Wat Phnom, Independence monument and walking around the river. Overnight in Phnom Penh.
DAY 12
Phnom Penh - Siem Reap
In the morning, have breakfast at the hotel. Visit Choeung Ek Memorial (The Killing Fields), National Museum, Royal Palace & Silver Pagoda. In the afternoon, transfer to the airport for the flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival to Siem Reap, transfer to hotel and check in. Overnight in Siem Reap.
DAY 13
Siem Reap
In the morning, have breakfast at the hotel. Visit the the grand circuit: Prasat Kravan, Neak Pean, Preah Khan and Pre Rup. Afternoon visit the Angkor Wat “The Great Wonders”, Bakeng and enjoy the sunset at Bakeng Hill. Overnight in Siem Reap.
DAY 14
Siem Reap
In the morning, have breakfast at the hotel. Visit to south gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon, Baphoun, Phimeanakas, Terrace of Leper king and Elephant. In the afternoon, visit to Bantey Srei “The City of Women” and the Bantey Smei. Overnight in Siem Reap.
DAY 15
Departure
In the morning, have breakfast at the hotel. If time permits, boat excursion on Tonle Sap Lake & floating village. Back to Siem Reap and visit old market. In the late afternoon, transfer to the airport for the departure.
