Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival Yangon

Upon arrival to Yangon International Airport, you are welcomed by our company’s tour Guide and transferred to the Hotel in Yangon (Transferred by a decorated car).After refreshment, a brief City Tour includes; China Town noted for its fruits market, delicious street foods, and stop at down town Yangon to see Sule Pagoda, City Hall, Independent monument and old Colonial buildings. Later on, visit to the magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda, one of the wonders in the world, noted for its religious significance and artistic beauty, and to enjoy the sun-set from the Great Temple. Evening, welcome dinner with Culture Show and overnight at the Hotel in Yangon.

Day 2: Yangon-Heho-(By Flight) Pindaya-Kalaw

Today, we are flying to Heho. After Breakfast in Hotel, you are transferred to Yangon airport for departure flight to Heho. Upon arrival to Heho, we are driving to Pindaya; a small quiet town in Shan Plateau, famous for its Caves which enshrined centuries old Buddha Images, the Legendry Lake and two hundred years old huge Banyan trees.

Sightseeing includes: Pindaya Caves, parasol & Shan traditional paper making industries. Lunch at a local restaurant in Pindaya. Later on, drive to Kalaw : a beautiful British colonial hill station surrounded by mountains. It is a peaceful summer resort with fragrant pine woods. The road from Kalaw to Pindaya (38 km) passes through a countryside of magnificent scenic beauty. There are Palaung villages nearby and hill tribes’ people in their colorful costumes can be seen at Kalaw market which is held on every five days. Evening is at your own. Enjoy the climate of the hill station. Dinner and overnight in Kalaw.

Day 3: Kalaw-GHV Elephant Camp-Inle Lake

This morning, after breakfast in your Hotel, your driver will pick you up from your Hotel and drive to Magwe Elephant Camp, approxi : 45mins drive from your hotel in Kalaw. Upon arrival to Green Hill Valley Elephant Camp, you are welcomed by the GHV team and informed about their project. After refreshments, 10 minutes trekking to the river where elephant’s bath and you can join in feeding and bathing the elephants. You may have an experience of riding on elephant’s back like Mahout: elephant-trainer, after washing them.

Exploration of the forest area, opportunity to see butterflies, birds and orchids around the conservation area. Lunch will be served at the main camp. You are also invited to plant a regional tree from the nursery in order to the forest recovery efforts. Return to main camp and enjoy the view through valley. Later in the late afternoon, drive back to Kalaw.
Upon arrival to Kalaw, you are transferred to Inle Lake, about 2 Hr drive. Check in at the Hotel. Dinner and overnight in Inle Lake.

Day 4: Inle Lake Excursion

This early morning, after your breakfast in your Hotel, your local Tour Guide will take you introductory Inle Lake Excursion tour. First to Floating Market; a 5-day-rotating market in the Lake, where local people sell their own products from floating farms. Later, to PhaungDawOo Temple; where five sacred Buddha Images are treasured and proceed to  Indein : one of the small villages of Inlay Lake located on the western bank of the lake to see ShweIndein Pagodas :cluster of hundreds of ancient stupas most are ruins overgrown with bushes. This mysterious place is at the end of the marvelous Indein creek, which connected with Inlay Lake just after the PhaungDawOo Pagoda. The creek is narrow with many twist and turns. Since the both sides are paddy fields you can see the farmers ploughing and harrowing by water buffaloes. Drop in at a local primary school to observe how children are studying in this rural area.
Later on, boat excursion to Inpaw-khon village to observe silk, cotton& Lotus fabric weaving cottage industries with their own showrooms.Lunch at a local Restaurant in the lake. Tour proceeds to NgaPheChaung Monastery; famous for its centuries old Shrines and amazing tame cats. Next, proceeds to observe black-smith shop at SaeKhaung Village to see traditional mild-cigar –making (cheroot Factory).Proceeds to Ywa-ma Village to observe Traditional Silver and Gold Smith making.

The excursion tour ends in the late afternoon. Evening, dinner at the Restaurant in your Hotel and overnight in Inle Lake.

Day 5: Inle Lake-Bagan (By Flight)

This early morning you are transferred to Heho Airport to fly Bagan “The Kingdom of four million temples”. Upon arrival to Nyaung U Airport, you are welcomed by your local Tour Guide and he will take you to the introductory Bagan tour, which highlights: visit to interesting local NyaungOo Market and famous temples, such as; Shwezigon Pagoda, the prototype of later Myanmar stupas. Later on visit to Soya Bean Paste Production site to observe how local food is being made .Tour proceeds to KyansitthaUmin; Wet-kyi-inn Gubyaukgyi Temple with exquisite mural painting of 13th century, Hti-lo-min-lo; 1211 AD, one of the largest temples, noted for its fine plaster carvings on the arch pediments, frieze and pilaster. Photo stop at Kay Min Kha, cluster of temples, proceed to Ananda Temple, 1090 AD, master piece of early style of temple-architecture with four Hugh Buddha Images in standing position. Ananda Brick Monastery; with its 18th century paintings depicting Buddha’s life and elements of the history of Bagan.

Check in at the hotel and Lunch at a local Restaurant. After lunch, visit to a Lacquer-ware workshop, to observe the process of making a lacquer ware and its show-room. Afternoon, tour proceed to Dhamayangyi; the most massive temple among other temples in Bagan and to Sulamani Temple; with some of Bagan's finest ornamental work which are carved stucco on moldings’, pediments and pilasters. Later on, we are going to take a Horse-cart ride to Ayeyarwaddy River side. Then, transfer to a short Boat ride to enjoy the sunset.Overnight at the Hotel in Bagan.

Day 6: Bagan (Balloons OverBagan)

This early morning, start your day with a magnificent flight by a hot air Balloon over Bagan, you are transferred from your Hotel to the Balloons launch site Estimated time: between 05:30 Am and 06:00 Am. And you are served with the light Breakfast while the Balloons are being inflated: between 06:00 Am and 06:30 Am. The Balloons take off at round about 06:30 Am; it is depending on the sun rise time.

The balloons over Bagan flight will give you a unique opportunity to see this ancient kingdom, as it has never been seen before! Just like a bird would see and wherever the wind takes you! You may see Bagan waking up in the morning. You will see many temples in the distance and get an aerial view of Bagan; the stunning archeological site of 2000 pagodas. Imagine floating over thousand year old pagodas and the mighty Ayeyarwaddy River, as the sun rises slowly behind distant mountains. The magic of Bagan has inspired visitors to Myanmar for centuries. One of the most remarkable sights in Asia, ancient temples dot the landscape as far as the eye can see. Flying hour -45 minutes to 1 hr, depending on the wind direction on that morning Balloon’s flight. The pilot guides the balloon at speeds not exceeding 15 miles per hour over the blanket of 1,000-year-old pagodas and the Ayeyarwaddy River below. The Flight landing at between 07:15 Am and 07:30 Am. Celebratory champagne & flight certificate between 07:30 Am and 08:00 Am. Later, you are transferred back to your Hotel.

This morning full day Bagan city tour starts with Tharabar Gate; the eastern gate of the old wall and the main gateway to the ancient Bagan city. Next, we are driving to Taung-Bi Village to observe local village life, rice noodle factory, and down to river side to see how water is being carried by bullock-carts, and visit the local market. Later on, visit to Archaeological Zone & Museum; which has a collection of more than 2,000 items including Buddha Statues stucco pieces, terra-cotta cups and pots. Manuha Temple built in Mon style from 1059; Nanpaya Temple, said to have once been the residence of King Manuha, Gupyaukkyi Temple in Myinkabar.

Later on check out the Hotel and lunch at a local restaurant and drive to Mt Popa, about 1 Hrdrive. On the way, stop at road side villages to observe how Jaggery is made out of toddy palm juice. Climb up the stairs to reach the top of the Cliff, learn the Nat Shrines that line the walk along with the monkeys that live on the mountain and the Cult of Myanmar People from your local Tour Guide. Upon arrival to the top, enjoy the glorious views of central plain region. Later on, check in at the Popa Mountain Resort Hotel, dinner and overnight in Popa.

Day 7: Bagan -Thandwe (By Flight)-Ngapali Beach

Today, you are flying to Ngapali Beach. After breakfast, you are transferred to NyaungOo Airport for the departure flight to Ngapali Beach.
Upon arrival to Thandwe Airport, you are welcomed by Bouquet of roses and transferred to your hotel in Ngapali Beach in a private car. Check in your room and enjoy the welcome fruit cocktail or Glass of Sparkling wine upon arrival.

The whole day is at leisure on the Beach. Enjoy the facility of your hotel. Evening, Romantic candle lit Dinner on the beach and overnight in Ngapali Beach.

Day 8: Ngapali Beach

The whole day is at leisure on the Beach. You can look forward to spending happy hours: make use of the swimming pool, enjoy the sun beds at the white beach, Enjoy Myanmar full body Herbal oil massage for couple in Your Hotel Spa. At the Sunset Bar you can sit back in a harmonious atmosphere with view to the sea: enjoy freshly baked pizza, salads, Myanmar curries, delicious sandwiches and cocktails. On the beach you can play beach volleyball - or rent a bicycle to discover Ngapali! For golfing fans there's nearby a 9-hole-golf course. You can also play billiard and dart at your beach resort.

Day 9: Ngapali Beach

The whole day is at leisure on the Beach. Enjoy the facility of your hotel. We suggest you to visit the market in Thandwe; an important town of the area by public bus and take a boat excursion tour to lobster farms .Or take a bike from your hotel to Lone Thar village to observe fishermen’s life, women at their work of dried fish & prawn products. Evening enjoy fish BBQ dinner on the beach.

Day 10: Ngapali Beach-Yangon (By Flight)

Today, you are flying back to Yangon. Transfer to Thandwe Airport. Upon arrival in Yangon, you are transferred to Hotel, on the way, stop at Lawka-Chantha-Abhaya-Labha-Muni Buddha Image; which is carved out of over 600 tons white marble stone of 37 feet high, and visit to the sacred white elephantswhere currently held in a pavilion. After check in hotel and refreshments, your tour guide will take you to Germs Museum and Bogyoke market (ex-Scott market) for shopping facility. Evening, farewell- Dinner and overnight in Yangon.

Day 11: Departure Yangon

This morning, if your international flight is in the morning & afternoon, you will be transferred to Yangon International Airport for your return international departure flight, after breakfast in your hotel.
If your departure flight is in the evening: this morning, you may go shopping at BogyokeAung San Market (Ex-Scott’s market) for shopping Souvenirs. After lunch, you are transferred to Yangon International Airport for your Departure Flight.
