Yangon – Bagan - Mt.Popa – Mandalay – Pindaya – Inle – Yangon – Sittwe - Mrauk Oo - Yangon
The dawn of Myanmar’s civilization – Bagan, the last kingdom of Myanmar – Mandalay, the unique natural heritage – Inle lake and Myanmar open air museum – Mrauk Oo are selected for those who love the serenity of ancient heritage and gain an insight into the inherited life style of the inhabitants.
Sightseeing by coach with air-condition (except in Sittwe & Mrauk Oo)
The authentic MinKyanSit boats (the property of Adventure Myanmar), made of teak wood are traditionally built and decorated are provided for one day excursion between Mingun – Ava (Innwa). Our catering team is ready to serve delicious cuisine.
The boat between Sittwe – Mrauk Oo is simple and some of them are used for catching fishes. We can arrange the private decorated boat for Sittwe – Mrauk Oo and it will take only 6/7 hours. There is also express boat for our clients and it will operate for minimum 25 pax.
Domestic flights on Air Mandalay or Yangon Airways or Air Bagan (F-100, ATR 72/42)
There is no daily flight Yangon & Sittwe. Please contact to Adventure Myanmar office for update schedule of domestic flight.

Day 01 Arrival Yangon
Welcome at Yangon International Airport. Transfer and check in at the hotel. Orientation tour Yangon if time permits. Visit Botahtaung Pagoda - the combination of Stupa & Temple, the colonial area, Sule Pagoda - the landmark of Yangon City Centre, Chaukhtatgyi Reclining Buddha Image. Finally, visit to the Shwedagon Pagoda-one of the wonders of the world. Overnight in Yangon.
Day 02 Flight to Bagan. Sightseeing
Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport for the flight to Bagan. Visit colorful local market, Shwezigon Pagoda - the glory of Bagan, Htilominlo Temple - the best pilaster carving, Nathtaukkyaung - monastery made of teak wood, Ananda Temple - the masterpiece of Bagan, Gubyaukgyi Temple - the best mural paintings of 11th century, the Manuha Temple - huge Buddha Images, Dhamayangyi Temple - the biggest temple in Bagan, Sulamani Temple - the 12th century temple, the lacquerware workshop - the unique of Bagan, etc. Finally, enjoy the sunset on the top of the temple. Overnight in Bagan.
Day 03 Sightseeing Bagan
Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Visit Lawkananda pagoda, which has the fascinating river view, Payathonezu temples with mural paintings, Nagayon Temple of 11th century, Apyeyadanar Temple with mural paintings, etc. In the late afternoon, visit Minanathu village to observe the life of people. Finally, take the boat ride on mighty Ayeyarwaddy River during the sunset time. Overnight in Bagan.
Day 04 Drive to Mt.Popa (50 km, 2 hours). Proceed to Mandalay (240 km, 5/6 hours)
Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Mt.Popa-an extinct volcano which is known as “Home of the Spirits” and observe the life of rural area on the way such as producing the palm sweets. We may stop several places for making the photos and knowing the countryside. Climb up 777 steps to reach of top of Mt.Popa cliff temple to enjoy the landscapes and plain to Bagan. Come down and proceed to Mandalay. Check in at the hotel and leisure. Overnight in Mandalay.
Day 05 Excursion Amarapura, Sagaing & sightseeing Mandalay
Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Visit Mahamuni Buddha Image one of the most sacred Buddha Images in Myanmar. Transfer to Amarapura, an ancient capital of Myanmar, where we can observe the life of over 1000 monks at Mahagandaryon Monastery & silk weaving factory. Proceed to Sagaing, where we can observe the fascinating landscapes of the Ayeyarwaddy River from serene Sagaing Hill, the place of over 700 monasteries. Drive to Mandalay and visit to the traditional handicraft workshops such as, marble carving, gold leaves beating, Kuthodaw Pagoda – the world biggest book, Shwenandaw (Golden Palace) Monastery – the finest of wood carving, etc. Finally enjoy the sunset on top of Mandalay Hill where we can admire the beauty of Mandalay City, Shan Plateau, etc. Come back to hotel and leisure. Overnight in Mandalay.
Day 06 River cruise Mingun-Ava (Inwa)
Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Boat excursion to Mingun (01 hour) along the mighty Ayeyarwaddy River. During the river cruise, we may enjoy the fascinating landscapes of the river as well as the daily life of the people living along the Ayeyarwaddy. Visit Mingun pagoda – unfinished pagoda & the biggest ringing bell of 90 tons, unusual Myatheindan pagoda. Proceed to Ava (Inwa) by boat for about 02 hours. On the way, we may observe the beauty of serene Sagaing Hill & bridge from the boat. Arrive to Ava and visit by horse carts to Maenu Okkyaung Monastery - built by the chief queen, Nan Myint Tower - 27 meter masonry high, Bargayar Monastery - well known for its wood carving with 267 teak pillars. Come back to Amarpaura and enjoy the sunset by crossing over U Bein Bridge. Overnight in Mandalay.
Day 07 Flight to Heho. Drive to Pindaya (45 km, 01:30 hours). Proceed to Inle (97 km, 02:30 hours)
Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport for the flight to Heho. Drive to Pindaya and enjoy the marvelous landscapes of hilly region with vegetables plantation, terrace landing cultivation, etc. Visit Pindaya Caves -houses 8094 Buddha Images, umbrella workshop, which is made of pulp. Proceed to Inle and on the way, visit Shweyanpye Monastery - typical Shan Monastery. Check in at the hotel and overnight at Inle Lake.
Day 08 Excursion Inle
Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Boat excursion on the lake. Visit Inn Dein pagodas in ruins covered by trees and bushes, floating gardens, floating villages, Phaungdaw Oo Pagoda-the most venerable pagoda on the lake, In Paw Khon village to observe the silk weaving & lotus petal robe weaving loom, jumping cats monastery, etc. Overnight at Inle Lake.
Day 09 Flight to Yangon. Visit
Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport for the flight to Yangon. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel and check in. Visit Bogyoke market [except on Monday] & china town. Overnight in Yangon.
Day 10 Flight to Sittwe. Boat to Mrauk Oo
Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport for the flight to Sittwe. Upon arrival, boat trip Kaladan River to Mrauk Oo, about 6 hours upstream. On the way, we may observe the beauty of Kaladan River. Arrival Mrauk Oo, transfer and check in at the hotel. Overnight in Mrauk Oo.
Day 11 Sightseeing Mrauk Oo
Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Visit Shittaung Temple - Shrine of the 80,000 Images, Pitakaktaik, which literally means Buddhist cannon with distinguishing features, Laungbanpyauk Pagoda & Sakyamanaung Pagoda, Andaw Thein temple, Yadanabon Pagoda, which is the largest stupa in the area, Yadana Manaung, Satkya Manaung, etc. Enjoy the sunset on top of Htoke Kan Thein Temple - which houses 146 Buddha niches. Overnight in Mrauk Oo.
Day 12 Excursion Vesali Village & Mahamuni Buddha Image
Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Vesali, the ancient capital founded in 372 AD is just 10 km from Mrauk Oo. On the way, we can observe plenty of rice fields, which define Rakhine State as “The Land of Bounteous Rice”. Visit ancient Sutaung Pye Buddha Image and proceed to to Mahamuni Temple (two hours drive approximately) was the original site for Mandalay’s famous Mahamuni Buddha, a huge and very old bronze image. Back to Mrauk Oo and take the canoe ride along Mrauk Oo canal. Overnight in Mrauk Oo.
Day 13 Boat to Sittwe
Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Visit to the local market, museum, Bandoola Monastery - huge collection of antiques of Mrauk Oo Dynasty. Afternoon, cruise back to Sitttwe. Upon arrival, transfer and check in at the hotel. Leisure at View Point Beach. Overnight in Sittwe.
Day 14 Flight to Yangon
Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Visit the colorful fish market, Cultural Museum. Afternoon, transfer to the airport for the flight to Yangon. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Overnight in Yangon.
Day 15 Departure
Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Yangon International Airport for the departure flight.
