Yangon - Hpa an- Mawlamyine- Yangon- Inle- Pindaya- Bagan – Mandalay

17 Days / 16 Nights

Sightseeing by coach with air-condition
A coach will be at disposal along the way while the people making bike in case if someone exhausts to continue by bike. Most of the places are plain and easy to ride the bike and mountain bike will be provided.
Bagan- Mandalay express boat operates daily only from October to March. The rest of the months depend on the numbers of the passengers. It leaves at 06:30 a.m and the arrival time to Bagan depends on the season and water level. In the dried season from November to May, it can takes about 10/12 hours and in the rainy season from June to October, it can take about 7/8 hours only.

Day 01 : Arrival Yangon

Upon arrival Yangon, welcome at the airport and transfer to hotel (Official check in at 14:00).
Then we head out for a tour of the city featuring the faded colonial architecture of the old post office, Sule Pagoda in the middle of downtown, the Strand Road and continue walk to Mahabandoola Garden including the Independence Monument along the way. Then visit Little India and Chinatown, to see the colourful cacophony of restaurants, temples and markets in both. Afterwards we visit Bogyoke Market [except on Mondays], where there will be free time to browse through the dozens of stalls and shops selling handicrafts and other goods.
A visit to Kandawgyi Park, we continue to Shwedagon Pagoda, a massive complex with 65 stupas providing breath-taking views of the golden stupa and the city skyline from this vantage point.
Overnight in Yangon.

Day 02 : Bike Tour To Twante via Dala

Morning breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Nanthidar jetty and take the ferry with bikes across to Dala and cycle onwards to Twante, itself provides interest as a centre of pottery and hand woven cotton cloth. Along the road, we can stop at small villages and observe making bamboo sticks which are used for joss sticks.
Upon arrival Twante, biking tour around the city of Strand road, local market, pottery work, Shwesandaw pagoda, hand woven cotton cloth and visiting Shansu village, etc..
Then biking back to Dala and on the way visit Baungdaw Gyoke pagoda, where we can see dead body of un-rotten monk. Upon arrival Dala, take ferry back to Yangon. Transfer to hotel and free.
Overnight in Yangon.

Day 03 :Drive to Hpa-an (about 06/ 07 hours)

Morning breakfast at hotel. Drive from Yangon to Hpa An (06/ 07 hours).
Before reach to Hpa-an, visit Bayint Nyi Cave & hot spring lake exist in that cave. Continue visit Kawgaun Cave, located near Kawgun village, which is two miles distance from Hpa An township. It is locally known as the Cave of Ten Thousand Buddhas, housing a large number of Buddha images in various forms and sizes.
Upon arrival Hpa-an, check in at hotel.
Enjoy the sunset at Shweyinhmyaw pagoda.
Overnight in Hpa-an.

Day 04 :Hpa-an (Full day Biking Tour)

Morning breakfast at the hotel. Start the biking tour ride to Beautiful Limestone Mountains with great paddy field. Cycling first to Kaw Ka Taung Cave near Hpa-an, after passing through Karen village and beautiful bridge. After lunch, visit to natural Sadam Cave under the mountain which lived king of Elephant and can be walk all the way through to the other side of the mountain until to see marvelous scenery at the exits cave. Then enjoy boat ride in small lake which lead back to the front of the cave.
On the way back to Hpa-an, visit Kyauk Ka Latt Pagoda with beautiful lake. Finally riding beautiful green valley and arrive back to Hpa-an in the evening.
Transfer to your hotel and free.

Overnight in Hpa-an.

Day 05 :Private Local Boat from Hpa-an to Mawlamyine [on the way visit Kadow Village]

Morning breakfast at the hotel. Morning transfer to jetty and take private local boat from Hpa-an to Mawlamyine. On the way stop at Kawhnat Kadow Village where you will see the best Glass Mosaic decorations and Teak Wooden Buddha Images. The monastery is donated by a Myanmar Well-Known Teak Merchant, U Na Oak.
U Na Oak is famous for his patriotic battle in terms of inland water transport business against the then Irrawaddy Floatilla Company in the British times in Myanmar history. Take the pictures of the amazing wood-carvings decorated on the inner walls of the monastic buildings and visit around the monastery complex.
Back to the boat and continue sailing to Mawlamyine about one hour. Upon arrival Mawlamyine, transfer to hotel and check in.
Overnight in Mawlamyine.

Day 06 :Excursion Mudon and Thanphyuzayat. Afternoon visit Mawlamyine

Morning drive to Mudon, 29 km south of Mawlamyine and visit Win Sein Taw Ya Forest, The Buddha Image is named as Zinathuka Yan Aung Chantha.
Proceed drive to Thanphyuzayat. And then visit to Death Railway Museum, World War II Cemetery of allied soldiers and Thanphyuzayat Market.
Then back to Mawlamyine and continue visit Mawlamyine market, U Zina Pagoda, Mahamuni Pagoda, Seindon Mibaya kyaung has some excellent wood-carvings which are over a hundred years old, Yadana Bonmyint Monastery and sunset at view point, etc..
Enjoy the sunset at Kyaikthalan pagoda.

Overnight in Mawlamyine.

Day 07 :Mawlamyine – Yangon via Bago (about 6/7 hours drive)

Morning breakfast at the hotel. Drive back to Yangon. On the way stop at Bago and visit the Shwemawdaw Pagoda - the highest Mon style Stupa in Myanmar, Shwetharlyaung Reclining Buddha Image, 4 huge sitting Buddha at Kyaikpun pagoda, old palace “Kanboda Thadi”, etc. Drive back to Yangon. Check in at the hotel and leisure. Overnight in Yangon.

Day 08 :Fly to Heho. Continue to Inle (35 km) by bike

Morning breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport for the flight to Heho. Upon arrival, bike to Inle Lake [Light Truck will follow along the route of biking]. On the way, visit Shweyanpye Monastery – typical Shan Monastery. Upon arrival Inle, transfer and check in at the hotel.
Evening, you may enjoy the canoe ridding along the cannel.
Overnight in Nyaung Shwe/ Inle.

Day 09 :Excursion Inle lake by boat

Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Boat excursion on the lake. Visit to the local tribe market, Inn Dein pagodas in ruins covered by trees and bushes, Lotus petal robe & silk weaving looms at Inn Paw Khone village, Phaungdaw Oo Pagoda the most venerable pagoda on the lake, jumping’ cats monastery, etc.
Overnight in Nyaung Shwe/ Inle.

Day 10 :Bike to Pindaya (97km-it is long trip and truck will follow. You can ride some part of trip and if you get tired, you can take this truck some part.)

Morning breakfast at the hotel. Bike to Pindaya (97 km) [Light Truck will follow along the route of biking]. On the way, we pass through Heho, Aungban and stop at many villages and enjoy marvelous scenery.
Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel check in. Evening visit to the Pindaya Caves which houses 8094 Buddha Images, umbrella workshop- which is made of pulp, etc.
Overnight in Pindaya.

Day 11 :Free in the morning. Afternoon fly to Bagan.

Morning breakfast at the hotel. Free in the morning.
Afternoon transfer to Heho airport for flight to Bagan.
Upon arrival, transfer in and check in at the hotel.
Overnight in Bagan.

Day 12 :Sightseeing Bagan by bike among ancient and ruined pagodas [No car service]

Morning, breakfast at the hotel.
Visit colorful local market, Shwezigon Pagoda - the glory of Bagan, Htilominlo Temple - the best pilaster carving, Nathtaukkyaung - monastery made of teak wood, Ananda Temple - the masterpiece of Bagan, Gubyaukgyi Temple - the best mural paintings of 11th century, Manuha Temple - huge Buddha, Dhamayangyi Temple - the biggest temple in Bagan, Sulamani Temple - the 12th century temple, the lacquerware workshop - the unique of Bagan, etc. Finally, enjoy the sunset on the top of the temple.
Overnight in Bagan.

Day 13 :Bike tour outskirt of Bagan [No car service]

After breakfast, start at 7.30 am, and then ride on street for 2 km to be warm up.
Afterwards, biking on the small field path along water supply canal which is using to send the water from Ayeyarwaddy river to the land and start the biking place for adventure and Bagan's outskirts to explore beauty of dry zone with land of endless fields, today palm farms, paddy fields, etc..
By riding through Nwar Kyo village, Kann Poat village, Tuwin Tain village, Monastery in colonial style, stop at tamarind tree Let Wel village for relax, one can explore villages life and their daily activities.
Enjoy picnic lunch and snacks under the shadow during the trip while relaxing in the tranquil countryside.
Visit home of the family in village to enjoy tea and snacks and chatting with them for exchanging social and cultural.
Finally, ride back to Bagan, transfer to hotel and free.
Overnight in Bagan.

Day 14 :River Cruise from Bagan to Mandalay by Express Boat along Ayeyarwaddy River (260km)

Early morning, transfer to the jetty for the river cruise to Mandalay. Leisure and enjoy the marvelous landscapes during the cruise. Arrive to Mandalay and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Mandalay.

Day 15 :Sightseeing in Mandalay by bike [No car service]

Morning breakfast at the hotel. Sightseeing by bike in Mandalay. Visit Mahamuni Buddha Image one of the most sacred Buddha Images in Myanmar, Kuthodaw Pagoda – the world biggest book, Shwe Nandawkyaung (golden palace) monastery. Finally enjoy the sunset on the top of Mandalay Hill where we can admire the beauty of Mandalay City and Shan plateau, etc.
Overnight in Mandalay.

Day 16 :Boat excursion to Mingun. Then Biking to Sagaing and back to Mandalay. [No car service]

Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Boat excursion to Mingun (01 hour) along the Ayeyarwaddy River nd brining the bikes. During the river cruise, we may enjoy the fascinating landscapes of the river as well as the daily life of the people living along the Ayeyarwaddy.
Sightseeing by bike in Mingun including: Mingun pagoda – unfinished pagoda & the biggest ringing bell of 90 tons, the unusual Myatheindan pagoda.
Then continue to Sagaing by bike, where we can observe the fascinating landscapes of the Ayeyarwaddy River from serene Sagaing Hill, the place of over 700 monasteries, Kaungmudaw Pagoda - the magnificent dome remarkably seen from far away, silverware factory, etc.

00Mingun-2 

Then visit KA NAR TAW Village where villagers are earning making Myanmar Traditional Toys and distributing it to the pagodas. We can see Myanmar traditional toys in every pagodas and which are attracting to the children. We can learn the process of making toys in the village (remark: workshops will be close on full moon day / Dark moon day and Sabbath days).
Finally, back to Mandalay, transfer to hotel and free.
Overnight in Mandalay.

Day 17 :Departure Mandalay

Morning, breakfast at the hotel. Free until transfer to Mandalay International airport and departure.
